Obituary
Barb was filled with a fun, playful, energetic and exciting personality. She was a lover of all things cultural, artistic, and musical. She was a true friend. Her booming laughter was contagious. She was a free spirited artist who showed her work in Florida and and was a student of art there as well. She was very charitable and loved to help those in need. She sat on the board of JARC for 25 years of which 2 she the president.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to JARC Jewish Association for Residential Care or Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center-The University of Miami. Services are private. Dear Sy, Dawn, Jeff, and other family members,
I want to send sincere condolences on Barbara’s passing, both from me and on Adrien’s behalf. If “A” still were here, you know she would be very sad to learn of Barbara’s death, and perhaps would say “Let Barbara’s memory be a blessing.” Perhaps they are meeting in Heaven even now. Love to you all.

OMG I have so so many. I NEVER knew ANYONE who was a better loving loyal friend than Barb.
Living one house away from each other for many years and in the same community for 16years. The security guard from the back gate introduced Barb to me when her and Sy first moved in. And we were together ALL the time. The energy and love Barb and Sy had was infectious. We LAUGHED ALL the time…..except not always when we played golf!! Barb and I won a Governor’s Cup one year. And Barb and Sy and I went to Hippocrates Health Institute for two weeks around 2008. OMG did we laugh about that. OFF we went with Brigitte Gabriel to many many events. In Florida and in Washington. But one thing we ALWAYS DID together was LAUGH. From Colorado to Philadelphia to Chicago… No matter WHAT was going on…WE WERE LAUGHING!!!!!
